C4C selects ERP solution based on Microsoft Dynamics AX
24 January 2012
Etten-Leur 24-01-2012 - This week C4C Holding BV announced that they will be working with a new ERP solution that is based on Microsoft Dynamics® AX at several companies within their holding. Complemented with functionalities that Schouw Informatisering developed for the food and beverage industry in SI Foodware for AX, this forms a company-wide ERP solution. ICT-Manger Marc Aerts of C4C Holding is looking forward to start working from one database where information is stored central for multiple companies: "We will get a total overview on the performance of our business units and processes. And because data does not need to be entered twice, we will always have the correct data available. This way decisions can be made easily and processes can be adjusted in a well-considered way. The need for a strong ERP solution
C4C holding is the parent organisation of several leading companies in the mushroom sector. As world market leader they work together with their growers and the best research institutes to maintain and further develop this position. An ambition that needs to be facilitated by a strong ERP solution: "At the moment we are working with a number of separate software applications that do not really match with each other. It keeps our business units running, but it does not allow us to really accelerate and work effectively.
Experience in the food industry
Schouw Informatisering was contacted early in the search of C4C Holding for an ERP solution that met these criteria. For quite some time Schouw Informatisering has been the automation partner for several companies within this holding. Marc Aerts: "Schouw Informatisering has over 13 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SI Foodware in the food industry. When we learned that they were adding Microsoft Dynamics AX to their portfolio, we became very enthusiastic. Microsoft Dynamics AX can offer us better support for multi-site planning. The possibilities of Dynamics AX in combination with a proven partner finalized our decision."
Last week the kick off for the out roll of Dynamics AX and SI Foodware at the first company within the C4C holding: FLM Foodingredients took place. With other business units to follow soon. Even though a huge project is taking off, Marc Aerts remains positive: "We have put together a project team that has extensive knowledge of our company and our product. I am confident that their experience and dedication will bring this project to a successful result."
